Life in Square Photos 32&33/52

I'll start this post off by apologizing for being M.I.A. but I promise its with good reason(s). Last Wednesday I was offered a position as a Long Term Sub for Photography at a high school in Reading. So, what does that mean? Well, I'll find out all of the details this week in orientation but what I do know is that I will be creating and teaching lessons for multiple levels of digital and film photography for the entire school year. I'm so thankful for the opportunity and ecstatic to start my teaching career in the area (photography) that drove my desire to become an educator. Special thanks to my high school teachers who inspired me through their passion for education and their lessons,  encouraged creative thinking, and have been kind enough to keep in touch after graduation and share lessons and tips they've picked up along the way.
With this news comes another announcement, I'm moving! Rather than making the almost hour and a half commute to school and back everyday-which would be bad news considering my extreme hatred of driving-I will be moving into my own townhouse-style apartment this week. I'll be sure to post pictures of the progress/finished product of the space right here.
One final announcement, yesterday marked one month until my parents, Kyle and I leave for France and Norway (don't worry, I've already gotten it covered by the school-I'll have the same sub the eight days I'm away). I can't wait to see the art and architecture I've studied in my Art History courses while taking in a different culture. Oh, and why Norway? Well, my senior year of high school we had an exchange student stay with us the entire year and it was like finding my long lost blonde twin and we're making a little pit stop on the way home to visit her and her family. My heart is already bursting with joy.
The next couple of months are going to be busy, busy, busy but I can't wait to stop and share some photos and stories along the way with all of you.
Now, here are some photos from my camera roll the last two weeks:
A blurry photo of  Lily's happy snarl face that I love so much- she gets so excited and can't stop moving when she does it and this is the best photo of it I've gotten. What am I going to do without these two sleeping next to me every night?!
That one day I got a funnel cake when I was wearing a black shirt and miraculously didn't get powder all over myself.
That one time I threw my jean jacket in the car and it looked like it was sitting..
A close-up of the massive congratulatory flowers Kyle sent me.

Now, back to trying to get everything packed
Thanks for Stopping by! xo
