Eye Heart NYC

If you've been following along on Instagram, then you know my family spent the weekend in the city. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites near Madison Square Garden which was convenient for someone as directionally challenged as myself. We were in town for BookCon because some of Bailey's favorite authors and YouTubers were participating in panels, photo-ops and book-signings and I'll share more about all of that later.
Every time I go to the city it makes me want to live there even more (at least for a little while). I love the energy, the hustle and bustle, and, of course, the shopping. Fingers crossed an art teaching position opens, wink wink.

As soon as we checked into our room, I changed into shorts- black pants were not my best decision, but they were perfect for the chilly 9/11 Memorial and our breezy lunch at ROC in Tribeca.

P.S. I've also started the hashtag #CharpTravels on Instagram so you'll be able to follow along on my adventures.
