Life in Square Photos 9/52

Sorry for the sparse posts again, I keep losing track of the days and getting involved in so many other side projects I can't wait to share. I feel like I did so much this week and actually remembered to take pictures along the way. I'm definitely thinking I need to start printing these pictures and making a scrapbook of my year in square photos.
I've written two and taught three of my own lessons with our middle school students and I can not wait to share the results with you soon.
One of the lessons (we just started today) involves creating a parody of a classic work and mimic the artist's painterly style by layering marker and colored pencil. I used to dread making samples for my lesson plans but now it's become my favorite part. I created a parody of Edvard Munch's The Scream using Lily being followed by a claw hand.
I can't believe I'm almost finished with my first placement of student teaching, the semester is going far too quickly. I love writing the daily warm ups and making the board look as fun as possible. Just wait until you see my plans for this week's board designs.
I've been rebelling against the frigid winter temperatures and wearing more spring appropriate attire.
Sunglasses: Ray ban Beanie: Target (Similar) // Jacket: American Eagle (Similar) // Shirt: Abercrombie // Jeans: Guess // Sneakers: Kate Spade Saturday x New Balance // Clutch (iPad Sleeve):

Now I have a serious question for any Pennsylvanians or anyone who's visited Philadelphia:
Geno's or Pat's?
Obviously I'm a Pat's girl, I mean how can you argue with the King of Steaks?
I've always been a huge fan of how Boathouse Row looked during the day but I think I'm even more in love with it lit up at night.

Thanks for Stopping by! xo
