Co-ords, Check.

Hey Everyone! I'm sure most of you know co-ords/ twosies/ matching set/ whatever other names they're going by have made a return in a big way this summer.

I jumped at the mere mention of the returning trend (probably because my mom dressed me in them through the 90s and early 2000's) and bought multiple matching sets that I wore together and as separates.  Oh and how funny is Macey? We tried to go out and do the shoot without her but she was seriously offended and wouldn't allow it.

Insta-Outfit // Grunge Glam

Hey All, still no internet so I'm sharing a quick outfit my mom and I shot before I came back to school with my sidekick, Macey. I love a grungy outfit with a touch of glam. So I paired my favorite ripped jeans and a muscle tee with a bib necklace. I've also been doing a lot of buns since I've been trying to stay heat free as I grow my hair back out. Unfortunately everything I'm wearing is old (I've had these jeans since my sophomore year of high school) but the good news is you can shop similar styles below.

Life Lately

Hey all, I'm back at school and we're not getting our internet turned on until Wednesday so I'm just going to share a quick look into my last few weeks of summer. And I mean super short because I'm writing this from my phone/ struggling to activate my replacement phone simultaneously.. Anyway I still can't believe summer is already over but it is exciting to be back at school for my final year of college.

My mom and sister returned from France last week and brought home LadurĂ©e macaroons. All I have to say is YUM.
Hands down the best crafting buddies in history.
Celebrating (way too many) hours of work and a new feature coming soon :)
First corn dog in years and I swear it was as good as my childhood memories.
Saying goodbye to these sweet pups was far too difficult.
Yesterday, I had to face these seriously terrifying stairs to get in and out of my friend's apartment. I can't imagine them in the winter. More power to those boys for having to use them every day.
I'm still not completely unpacked (oops), but I did mange to get my newest tapestry up on the ceiling and it really helped complete the grown-up treehouse look I was going for.
Oh and I almost had Macey convinced to come back to school with me this time. She was even willing to drive me back ;)

Thanks for Stopping by! xo

Wildflowers and Open Backs

Happy Friday everyone! I just have a short post to share today as I'm getting ready to go back to school this weekend and I've been swamped with last minute projects and packing. Seriously though, where did the summer go? Anyway, I've been really into layering some of my longer sweatshirts and sweaters with dresses for a casual, feminine, comfy look. I found this awesome Free People cutout sweatshirt a few weeks ago and fell in love instantly. I'm constantly throwing it on over different dresses and imagining all of the other possibilities. Here's two of the ways I styled it while I was in Sea Isle last week. Both of the dresses are a few months old and unavailable online but you can shop similar styles below.

Sea Isle Sea Spray

Our last night in Sea Isle, Kyle and I went for a walk on the beach.

We collected perfect (by my standards) shells, let the surprisingly warm tide splash around our ankles, walked with/ chased seagulls, and watched as the sky changed to beautiful cotton candy colors. I'm also very happy to announce my sister (and mom who went to pick her up) returned safely from France on Monday. So sad we only have a little time left before we go back to school but I'm still planning to smuggle her with me ;).

Green Lane Park

I'm back after a much needed end-of-summer vacation. Before Kyle and I left for Sea Isle last weekend, we stopped at a park he had stumbled upon a few weeks earlier. It really was a beautiful park full of life but we quickly discovered we are by no means made for hiking. In his words "I don't like nature there's too many bugs". Ha ha so while we enjoyed the views and our bit of exercise before vacation we're not planning another hike in the near future. Special thanks to him for taking over the title of photographer when Bailey is unavailable :).

Neon Pops

I'm all about being comfy (seriously try to catch me in anything but leggings when I have class) but I try to look for ways to glam it up a bit.

Wearing all black is often a go-to for me because is simple and chic and can be worn just about anywhere. I decided to pair an oversized, embroidered, short sleeve sweatshirt with some pleather leggings since they can dress anything up and give a cool, edgy look. For a bit of a playful touch I added some bright accessories and a fringe crossbody purse I found at Target for $4(!!!).

Heard it Through the Grapevine

In my last post, I shared this maxi cardigan I'm absolutely obsessed with and many of you seemed to feel the same (all the love on Instagram was so appreciated).

I kept sending you here for the direct link without actually checking that the only available size was XS-yikes-I ordered a small and it was originally a little snug in the arms (before I wore it on repeat). So I thought I'd share a few similar styles that I'm crushing on and considering adding to my closet (see the links below) with you today.
Also how great are these sandals? Obsessed. Betsey Johnson has always been one of my favorite designers and sometimes I swear she's inside my head with her designs. You better believe these will be on repeat for the remaining weeks of summer because they're the perfect neutral sandal with a fun Betsey twist.
